The CHIYODA® 316L-16 is a premium rutile-titanium calcium coated austenitic stainless steel welding electrode designed for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick). Manufactured using advanced Japanese production technology, this electrode features extra-low carbon content (≤0.04%) to prevent intergranular carbide precipitation and maximize resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion in harsh chemical environments.

Featuring an exceptionally stable arc, smooth bead profile, and effortless slag detachability, the CHIYODA 316L-16 is ideal for high-integrity fabrication across chemical processing, marine engineering, food processing, and pressure vessel manufacturing.
